Dr. IT Group of Institutions started functioning in 2008 under the aegis of the trust, the institute was established with the sole purpose of providing high-quality education in the developing fields of management and technology, as well as the installation of noble human values. Courses offered by the institute are affiliated with Punjab Technical University. Courses like B.Com, BBA, BTTM, and BCA at the undergraduate level, similarly MCA and MBM at the postgraduate level are available. Diploma and lateral diploma programs are offered with several specializations.

• The eligibility for candidates to apply for degree courses are having passed a recognized University/ Board/ 10+2 Council's or equivalent test in either stream. Through merit in academics and other criteria, Dr. IT Group of Institution's admissions will be provided.
• Candidates who have completed a recognized Bachelor's Degree in any discipline for at least three years are eligible for admission. Graduation marks/MAT AIMA's or CAT scores are used to determine admission to Dr. IT Group of Institutions. For management quota admission to Dr. IT Group of Institutions, candidates need to visit the college directly.
