Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute Admission

The Institute of DYPBBI came into existence in the year 2004. DYPBBI is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Dr. D Y Patil Vidyapeeth. The Institute aims at becoming one of the internationally reputed colleges. The Institute of DYPBBI is graded A NAAC. DYPBBI offers UG, PG, and certificate programs in various fields.

• DYPBBI offers B. Tech at UG level, M. Tech, M. Sc at PG level, and B.Sc and M. Sc combined. 
• A four-year B. Tech course at DYPBBI is offered in three fields. 
• Candidates who are above 17 can apply for a B. Tech course at DYPBBI.
• Applying for a B. Tech course at DYPBBI must have passed HSC or equivalent exams with 50% marks.  
• Selection for admission at DYPBBI for B. tech depends on marks scores in the National or State level entrance exam.
• If the students have not appeared in any entrance exam, they will have to sit for the Institute level entrance exam.
• Students of Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe and OBC will get a 5% relaxation of percentage.
• M. Tech course at DYPBBI is offered in Integrated Biotechnology.   
• To avail admission for the M. Tech course, candidates must have passed B.E or B. Tech with 45% marks.
• Admission for M. Tech at DYPBBI depends on National or State Level entrance exam marks.
• If any candidates fail to attend the national or state level entrance exam, they will have to appear in the Institute level entrance test to be qualified.
• M. Sc at DYPBBI is offered for two years with five disciplines.  
• Students to get admission for M. Sc must have passed in B.Sc or any equivalent examination with 50% marks.
• Admission for M. Sc at DYPBBI is based on the entrance exam conducted by the Institute.
• B.Sc and M. Sc course at DYPBBI is offered for five years to eligible students.  
• To get admission, candidates must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with 50% marks.
• Admission for B.Sc and M. Sc at DYPBBI depends on performance in the entrance exam conducted by the Institute.  
• Students appearing in the entrance exam conducted by Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth must pay Rs 1,300/-.
• Selected students can apply online by visiting the college website.

• Students can pay the application fee and fill them.   
• Students shall submit the application form of DYPBBI to the Institute.
