Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, located in Indore, is one of the most famous universities operated by the state government of Madhya Pradesh. The university has more than 300 affiliated colleges imparting education at undergraduate and post-graduate levels in basic and professional discipline. The university received NAAC accreditation of A grade. All the courses offered by the university are under the approval of the University Grants Commission (UGC).

The final selection is made based on the student’s score on the DAVV CET entrance test. For M. Sc, candidates can appear for the JNU-CEEB entrance exam. Cut-off marks for this exam are 114 marks for the general category, 100 marks for the OBC category, and 62 marks for students belonging to the SC category.
