DAVV Distance MBA Admission

The distance MBA program is curated to target graduates who are deprived of formal college education in conventional mode. The MBA curriculum is AICTE-approved. The course is affordable compared to a regular MBA. The distance degree certificate is on par with the regular MBA program from any recognized university.  The program duration is for 2 years (4 semesters). The curriculum is available in different specializations that the candidates can choose. The available specializations are:

DAVV Distance MBA Eligibility and Selection Criteria  

Candidates willing to join the DAVV MBA distance education must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate score. The candidates must be certified by any UGC/AICTE-approved University or any foreign University that is AIU-approved. This bachelor's degree must be for three years after completing their board exams in 10+2 board exams in any stream.  

Candidates will be designated based on academic merit and the shortlisting of application forms. The mode of application is accepted in an online format. The students are required to attach the necessary documents to be shortlisted.

DAVV Distance Education MCA Admission

MCA is a professional degree offered as a PG program in distance mode by the University. The course duration is two years and four semesters. This program is designed to fill the gap between the demand and supply of IT professionals. The course outcome intends to help the learners understand the impact of technology and its practical use in the global, economic, contemporary, and environmental context.

The program is targeted at entrepreneurs and working professionals who are willing to enhance their computer skills and grow their careers in the Information Technology field. It is recommended that the candidates have a prior understanding of Mathematics, Computer Programming, and more. The MCA curriculum is generally offered, and no other specializations are available.

DAVV Distance MCA Eligibility and Selection Criteria 

Participants looking for admissions must have completed their graduation degree. I.e., they must have passed BCA/ B.Sc./ B-Tech/ BA/ B.Com/ B.Voc, etc., from recognized universities UGC and AICTE approved. Candidates must have passed mathematics subjects at 10+2 board exams or graduation level.

The bachelor's degree must be for a minimum of 3 years. Students must have secured at least 50% in general, and a 5% relaxation will be given for reserved candidates. The graduation certification must be from any AICTE/UGC-approved University or any foreign University that is AIU-approved.   

DAVV Distance Education Admission Process

Interested and eligible candidates looking for distance education programs from DAVV can apply for admission online. The students must visit the official website at https://davv.mponline.gov.in. Below are the basic steps that need to be followed by the applicants:

  • Visit the official website and look for the admission link.
  • Click on the registration tab and start to fill in the necessary information about participants and educational info.
  • Attach the necessary docs and a copy of the candidate's photo and signature.
  • Ultimately, the applicants must pay the application form fees specified on the website.
  • Once the application is shortlisted, the candidates will be called for counseling, followed by document verification.

Here are the necessary docs that have to be submitted at the time of the application process:

  • 2 Latest photographs in passport size.
  • The Government gives ID proof with a photograph.
  • Age proof, i.e., DOB
  • 10 and 12th board exam certifications and marks sheet in the qualifying exam.
  • Eligibility Certificate (if applicable)
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate (if applicable)
  • NOC (from Government or semi Government employee)
  • Gap Certificate etc.

The minimum eligibility criteria for a distance MBA is to have a graduation or PG degree with a min of 45% marks in any stream. 40% is accepted for SC/ST candidates. The selections will be based on merit and counseling results.
