Delhi School of Professional Studies & Research (DSPSR), operating under the Divine Group, was established by the Society for Human Transformation and Research (SHTR). The society is led by prominent figures in academia, both nationally and internationally recognized. The institution has received an 'A' category rating from the NAAC.

It has also undergone academic audits by GGSIPU and the Joint Assessment Committee (JAC) of GGSIPU. Delhi School of Professional Studies NIRF Ranking is in the band of 151-200.

 

Currently, the DSPSR Delhi provides two UG programs through two separate shifts. Admission to these programs is determined by the candidate's rank in the IPU Common Entrance Test (CET) administered by Indraprastha University (IPU).

To further support its students, the college offers 62 scholarships based on merit-cum-means criteria. In addition, the institute has established numerous international collaborations & partnerships to elevate the quality of its academic offerings, enhancing the overall educational experience for its students.

DSPSR invites applications for admission to BBA and B.Com(Honors) every year in May/June. DSPSR also invites applicants to receive financial aid through scholarships.

 

Candidates seeking admission to the BBA or B Com must ensure the eligibility criteria as defined by the institute. The selection process for candidates strongly emphasizes academic performance and extracurricular achievements from the 10th through the 12th standard.

DSPSR Delhi Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 level examination with English as one of the core or elective subjects.

  • The admission process evaluates the aggregate of marks, which should be at least 50%, calculated from the best four subjects, including English.
  • Candidates in the SC/ST category are eligible for a 5% reduction in the least aggregate marks required for graduation.
  • The institute has implemented a reservation policy to ensure fair representation of various categories:
  • 27% of seats are reserved for Other Backward Classes candidates
  • 5% of seats are reserved for candidates with a background in defence.
  • 5% of seats are reserved for PWD

In terms of seat allocation, a majority of the seats (85%) are reserved for candidates based in Delhi or those who graduated from a Delhi-based institution.

The remaining 15% of seats are designated for non-Delhi candidates. This distribution ensures a diverse and inclusive student body.

 

DSPSR Delhi Selection Criteria

  • The selection process for the undergraduate program is overseen by IPU University, which considers the ranks obtained by candidates in the IPU CET exam.
  • Candidates can access their ranks through the university's website, as results and further counselling details will not be sent via email.
  • The schedule for the counselling sessions will also be available on the university's website before the counselling procedure commences.
  • They must bring their original documents along with photocopies and the verification form. A list of the necessary documents for admission can be found on the university's website.
  • Candidates will be called in order of their rank and asked to present the required documents for verification.
  • Upon the candidate's successful deposition of the complete fee, the Admission Officer will provide a duly signed Admission Slip.
  • Candidates should prudently review the details on the Admission Slip, including the fee paid, their name, rank, program, and other relevant information issued by the Admission Officer. This ensures a smooth and transparent admission process.

DSPSR New Delhi offers various scholarship opportunities to support students in their pursuit of education. These scholarships include:

  • Loan Guarantee Scheme and Scholarship: Offered by the Government of Delhi in collaboration with the Ministry of HRD, this scheme provides financial support to eligible students.
  • Vidya Lakshmi Educational Trust: DSPSR collaborates with Vidya Lakshmi Educational Trust to offer financial aid to deserving students.
