Delhi School of Economics was found in 1949 and is affiliated to University of Delhi. This college is located in New Delhi and presently offers various UG and PG level courses in the stream of Geography, Economics and Sociology. Delhi School of Economics Application Process:

For UG application forms:

  1. The fee for registration is INR 150 which has to be paid through payment gateways mentioned in the website.
  2. The Delhi School of Economics will cut-off will be released on the stipulated date.
  3. Candidates satisfying the cut-off marks should reach the admissions portal of the college.
  4. Candidates must take the printout of admissions form and documents to be submitted at college for verification.
  5. Candidates should log in to official website for paying the application fee.

For PG admissions:

  1. Registration fee is INR 500and INR 250 for reserved category students.
  2. Fill the basic details and select the course and application mode.
  3. Select the city for appearing for entrance exam.
  4. Select the preferred college name.
  5. Shortlisted candidates will be notified after the results and will be called for GD and PI.

I choosed International Business in MBA Course and at present am in 2nd year and to say about the curriculum it is interesting and it is designed well and major preference is given for practical learning .If you ask me How can i get admission in Department of Commerce for MBA course? Then i got to know admissions are done on the basis of score acquired in entrance exam and college accepts valid CAT score and to say about admission fee structure it is feasible and also reasonable in terms of facility and quality education and teaching faculties are good and college provides good facilities

Admission for MBA at Department of Commerce, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi:

  • Candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 50% aggregate.
  • Candidate must have a valid score in CAT entrance examination to take Delhi School of Economics admission.  
  • Candidate can apply online/offline with the required details for Delhi School of Economics admission. 
  • Admission will be done on the basis of academic credentials, entrance exam and also performance in personal interview conducted by Delhi School of Economics.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called by Delhi School of Economics for the personal interview based on marks obtained in graduation and entrance exam.
  • Selection process for Delhi School of Economics admission will be done based on the marks obtained in the previous examination followed by Personal Interview.

  • Candidate should Appeared for CAT entrance exam conducted by Indian Institute of Management(IIMs).
  • Selection procedure will be depend on the CAT Percentile, the Group Discussion and the Personal Interview is followed for admission to both the programmes.
  • This is done with a view to identify and process the interpersonal skills in addition to the overall knowledge of the students.

  • Candidate should score minimum 60% for GEN, 54% for OBC and MInimum passing marks for SC/ST. in academics.
  • Through Entrance test- The candidates are selected on the basis of entrance test conducted by the department. The candidates are also required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria.
