College of Engineering - Roorkee Admission

College of Engineering Roorkee (COER) came into existence in 1998 in Roorkee and is currently affiliated with UTU, Dehradun, for offering Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Application, and Engineering with specializations at undergraduate & postgraduate levels. The programs offered are B.Tech, BBA, B.Com, BCA, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA, with fields for a few.

• The College accepts admission through National and State Level entrance exams.
• B.Tech Admission is through JEE Main, followed by Counseling by UTU.
• M.Tech Admission is through UTUPGEE or GATE exam score.
• MBA program admission will be made through MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA scores.
• MCA accepts admission through the UKSEE exam score.

COER Admission Highlights:

COER BBA, B.Com, BCA Admissions:

Undergraduate programs in Commerce, Business Administration, and Computer Applications are offered in the college, such as BBA, B.Com, and BCA, for three years. The basic eligibility required is 10+2 in any stream for B.Com and BBA and 10+2 with Mathematics for the BCA program. The Admissions to these programs will be based on Merit in the qualifying exams. The College has an intake of 60 students in each program.

COER B.Tech Admissions:

B.Tech program is provided in the college with eight specializations for four years. The basic eligibility required is 10+2 in PCM with 50% marks and a valid score in the JEE Main exam. The Admission will be based on Counseling held by UTU and COER, with seats reserved as 85% and 15%, respectively.

The College has 120 students in the EEE, CSE, ETM, CE, and ME branches, 90 in the IT branch, and 60 in another department.

COER B.Tech Cut Off:

COER M.Tech Admissions:

The College offers an M.Tech program with two specializations for two years duration, that is, four semesters. The program has 18 students in each specialization, and the basic eligibility required is B.Tech with 60% marks in applicable streams. The admission will be based on GATE or UTUPGEE score and a State Level Counseling held by UTU.

COER MBA and MCA Admissions:

The college offers MBA and MCA programs for students with basic eligibility for a bachelor’s Degree in any stream. The MCA program requires a 10+2 in mathematics and Bachelor’s Degree. Admission to the MBA program students is based on MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA exam scores, and Admission to the MCA program will be based on UKSEE exam scores.

The MBA program has 120 students, whereas the MCA program has an intake of 60 students. The students with a valid score in entrance exams will be selected for the programs based on PI and GD held by the college.

COER Application Process:

The students are supposed to apply offline for admission to the college’s programs. The application form has to be downloaded from the college website. The duly filled application form has to be sent to the college, and the documents and DD of INR 1000/- for the application fee.
