CIEM Kolkata B. Tech (Lateral Entry) Admission Criteria

  • CIEM accepts students via lateral entries to the 2nd year of all the B. Tech courses.
  • Admission through the lateral entry pathways is based on the merit secured by applicants in the relevant engineering diploma's qualifying exams. An institute approved by AICTE must have awarded this diploma. Even more preferably, the domain of the diploma must be similar to the discipline that is being opted for under the lateral entry in the B. Tech program.
