Undergraduate course duration differs for every program. There are 12 U.G. courses offered, and the basic eligibility is XII passed out with minimum aggregate. Also, for B.Tech, the selection process is based on WB JEE. For other U.G. courses, academic merit counts, and based on that, admissions will be offered.

Each course's intake differs, and candidates are strictly admitted based on merit and score. There is no management quota or direct admissions provided at a state university.

GATE-qualified candidates are eligible and will be given first preference in seeking admission for M.Tech and MBA; MAT score is acceptable. The primary eligibility for admission to the P.G. level is candidates should be graduate holders from a recognized board with good marks.
