Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute of Technology offers admission to the B Tech at the Undergraduate level. B Tech at BTKIT is available in seven disciplines. Each B.Tech discipline has 60 seats available, except Bio-Chemical Engineering, which has a total intake of 30. Bipin Tripathi Kumaon College will offer B Tech admission based on the entrance test followed by counselling.

BTKIT B.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • For B Tech admission at BTKIT, candidates have to undertake a national level entrance test that is JEE Main.
  • Based on JEE Main Results, candidates have to register for UKSEE Counselling. The counselling session will be held via online mode. Based on JEE Main results, the competent authority will prepare the merit list.
  • To apply for the UKSEE Counselling, candidates must register themselves online through the official website. The B Tech selection criteria at BTKIT depends on JEE Main merit rank.
  • In addition, students must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate in science. 5% of concession is applicable for the reserved category students.
  • 5% of seats have been reserved for the Tuition fees waiver scheme. In addition, 10% to 5% of seats are reserved for Other state students & NRI's, respectively and 2% of intake for Kashmiri Migrants.

BTKIT M.Tech Admission

BTKIT provides its students with an M.Tech program at the Postgraduate level of qualification. M Tech at BTKIT is available in three disciplines.

BTKIT M.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • Candidates must have completed a B. Tech in the relevant discipline from a recognized university to be considered for the M Tech admission at BTKIT.
  • Admission is granted based on the GATE or UTU Entrance Test, followed by counselling.
  • Following GATE or UTU Entrance Exams results, candidates have to apply for counselling. Through counselling sessions, seat allocation takes place.

BTKIT MCA Admission

In addition to the M Tech, BTKIT provides an MCA degree at the PG level. The intake seats have been restricted to 60.

  • Admission to the MCA & MCA Lateral Entry is determined by UTU's counselling process, based on UKSEE rank.
  • Thus admission seekers have to undertake state level common entrance test UKSEE to secure MCA admission in BTKIT.
  • Additionally, candidates must hold a relevant bachelor's degree BCA/BSc Computer science from any recognized university. They shall have completed a degree with a least 50%. And, must have studied Maths as the main subject.

BTKIT PhD. Admission

  • Doctoral programmes at BTKIT are open to students having a strong academic background and an appropriate Master's degree. The ph.d is available in six streams.
  • A written test and an interview determine final admission to the PhD at BTKIT. In addition, students must have completed a PG degree with a minimum of 55% in the concerned discipline.

BTKIT offers Bachelor of Engineering (BE/B Tech) programs with a curriculum similar to IITs/NITs. This shows that college provides quality education. Students need a 10+2 qualification with 60% marks in PCM for eligibility. BTKIT Dwarahat Admission is based on the JEE Main. The institution has a total intake of 60 seats in each discipline of the B. Tech course.Additionally, 2% of seats in each branch ar reserved for Kashmiri migrants, and 5% of seats are reserved under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme. Other state quotas and non-resident Indian (NRI) students are allocated 10% and 5% seats respectively. Students can apply by filling out the application form on the official website of BTKIT, and final admission is granted after document verification.
