ASTRA was established in the year 1998 and it is located at Chandrayanagutta, Hyderabad. ASTRA is affiliated with JNTUH and accredited by the AICTE. ASTRA institute offers B.Tech courses, M.Tech courses, and MBA courses.

• To be eligible for B.Tech at ASTRA aspirants must have 10+2 examinations with PCM as mandatory subjects.
• B.Tech admissions to ASTRA shall be based on the valid score in TS EAMCET.
• For B.Tech Lateral Entry at ASTRA, aspirants will have to have passed Engineering Diploma with relevant specializations.
• B.Tech lateral-Entry admission to ASTRA shall be based on the candidate’s performance in TS ECET.
• Aspirants applying for the M.Tech program at ASTRA should have a BE/B.Tech degree or AMIE in the relevant discipline to be eligible.
• Admission to the M.Tech program at ASTRA is done on the basis of a valid score in TS PGECET as well as a GATE score.
• For the MBA program at ASTRA, aspirants must have a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university.
• MBA admissions at ASTRA shall be based on the valid score in TSICET.

ASTRA provides a 4-year, full-time, B.Tech program in 6 different types of specialization.

• Admission to the B.Tech course at ASTRA is done on the basis of a valid score in TS EAMCET.
• The total number of seats available in the B.Tech program at ASTRA is divided into two categories namely, Category A & Category B.
• Admission into category A (Convener Quota) at ASTRA B.Tech program is done through AP EAMCET and admission into category B (Management Quota) at ASTRA B.Tech program can be obtained by applying individually.
• Aspirants applying at ASTRA through the management quota should have qualified or appeared 10+2 level of examination or intermediate examinations with 45% of marks in aggregate.
• Aspirants with a degree of B.Sc. Mathematics can apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry programs at ASTRA.
• Aspirants will have to have completed 16 years of age as of December 31 during the time of admission process.

ASTRA provides its candidates with a full-time M.Tech program in 13 different types of specializations and with approximately 18 seats in each type of specialization.

• Aspirants applying for the M.Tech program at ASTRA will have to have secured an aggregate of 50% marks in BE/ B.Tech/ AMIE or in any of the relevant fields.
• Admission to the M.Tech program at ASTRA is done on the basis of a valid score in TS PGECET
• The process of admission to ASTRA is followed by the state-level Counseling conducted based on Merit-cum-choice basis.
• 70% of seats for the M.Tech program at ASTRA are filled with Convener quota and 30% of seats for the M.Tech program at ASTRA are filled through management quota.
• Aspirants applying through the management quota will have to have passed the 10+2 level of examinations with a minimum of 45% marks in PCB subjects.

ASTRA also offers its candidate a 2-year full-time MBA course with 180 seats.

• Candidates seeking admission for both convener and management quota for MBA courses at ASTRA should have a Bachelor’s degree in any field with 50% of marks in aggregate.
• Admission to the MBA program at ASTRA shall be conducted through TSICET exam followed by a counseling process.

• The application process for B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA courses at ASTRA is through the TSCHE Entrance Examination channel.
• The application forms for all the Entrance Examinations shall be provided on its official website.
• To apply for the management seats, the aspirants will have to contact the ASTRA’s Admission Cell.
• The application notification for the management seats will be notified in some leading newspapers around the time of admission.
