Annamacharya Institute of Technology & Sciences, Rajampet, operates as an autonomous educational institution affiliated with JNTU, Anantapur. In 1998, the Institute was established under the auspices of the Annamacharya Educational Trust, nestled in the serene surroundings of a sprawling 30-acre campus near Tallapaka, the birthplace of the renowned saint poet Annamacharya.

AITS Rajampet is strategically situated along the Hyderabad – Chennai Highway and enjoys a well-connected location. It offers B Tech, M Tech, MBA and MCA Courses. For B.Tech admissions, candidates are required to appear for the TS EAMCET examination.

To be eligible for admission, a candidate must meet the following criteria:

The applicant should have finished their 10+2 qualification from the Intermediate Board, Government of Andhra Pradesh. It should include Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as their optional subjects. Alternatively, they may present an equivalent examination recognized as such.

For admission to a 4-year degree program in Engineering (excluding NRI quota), the student must qualify for the  EAMCET. It is a State-Level Entrance Exam administrated by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Admission to Engineering programs is based on merit. The Convener of EAMCET grants admission based on the candidate's merit in the Intermediate examination and rank in the EAMCET. For the convenor quota, candidates must ensure the AITS Rajampet EAMCET Cutoff.

For admission to Annamacharya Institute of Technology Management Quota and NRI quota seats, candidates should have first-class scores in optional subjects, which include Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Selection for these seats is based on merit.

Admission for Diploma Holders: The Convener of ECET admits 10% of candidates from the stream of Diploma Holders. These candidates should have passed an Andhra Pradesh State Government diploma or an equivalent examination.

Master of Technology (M.Tech) courses are offered at the postgraduate level. The courses are available for two years. For each of the specialities, there are 18 seats available for admission.

• Candidates for M.Tech admission must take the GATE. In addition, students must have completed a bachelor's degree in BE/B Tech with at least 50% marks.
• Candidates who meet the necessities and desire to enrol in the M.Tech program may also take the Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (TS PGCET).
