For MBA admission to prestigious B-schools like XIMB, XIME, IMT, LIBA, TAPMI, and IMI, among others, XLRI XAT 2023 registration is currently open.

Applications are being accepted for the XAT 2023 MBA entrance exam at XLRI, Jamshedpur. On the XLRI XAT official website, xatonline.in, candidates can register if they want to take the entrance exam. XAT 2023 registration's last date is by November 30, 2022. For candidates in all categories, the XAT 2023 exam application fee is INR 2000.

A national-level MBA admission exam, the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2023), is similar to the CAT in terms of difficulty. The XAT 2023 exam is scheduled for January 8, 2023, in 80 test cities throughout India and will be computer-based. The XAT exam score is accepted for admission to the MBA or PGDM program at XLRI Jamshedpur, XAMI institutes, and more than 1,000 B-schools.

XAT Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The following XAT 2023 eligibility criteria must be met to be eligible to take the exam:

  • Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in any field of study with a minimum three-year duration from an authorized university.
  • Those pursuing a bachelor's degree and those awaiting results are also eligible to apply.
  • The XAT exam has no minimum score requirement.
  • Candidates with professional degrees (CA/ CS) and working professionals are eligible to apply.

How to fill XAT 2023 Application Form?

There are three steps in the XAT application procedure. The detailed process for filling out the XAT 2023 application form is provided below:

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the XAT 2023 website by clicking here or opening a new tab.
  • Select "Registration"
  • Put in your name, phone number, email address, password, and captcha code.
  • A special XAT ID and a registration link are distributed on the validated email ID.
  • To confirm registration, click the link.

Step 2: Fill up the application form.

Once your XAT 2023 registration has been verified, complete the application form by following the instructions below:

  • Visit the XAT 2023 homepage.
  • Select "Login"
  • Add your email address and password.
  • You'll see the XAT 2023 application form.
  • Check the data twice before saving.
  • Use a credit/ debit card, UPI, or net banking to pay the XAT exam cost.

Step 3: XAT 2023 Application fee payment

The XAT application form for 2023 must be submitted online. XAT 2023 registration fee is INR 2,000 for the XAT and INR 200 for each XLRI course. For candidates in the reserved category, there is no cost reduction.

When filling up the application form for XAT 2023, specific documentation is required, therefore make sure you have the following before applying:

  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Graduation mark sheet
  • Aadhaar card
  • Email ID and mobile phone number
  • Address proof
  • Date of Birth proof
  • Scanned signature of less than 1 MB
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Debit/credit card for application fee payment

Key points to remember during XAT 2023 Registration

  • To select a XAT exam center, candidates may choose up to three cities.
  • An e-Receipt will be created after the XAT exam fees have been successfully paid. Non-generation of 'E-Receipt' implies PAYMENT FAILURE.
  • Candidates are recommended to log in again with their email address and password to try again if their payment fails.
  • Take a printout of the XAT online application form and the e-Receipt. A successful online transaction may not have occurred if the same cannot be generated.
  • You can also download or print the application form with the fee information on the website after making the necessary payments.
  • Candidates should print down the payment confirmation page for use in any correspondence they may have with the XAT office in the future.
  • The preferred web browsers for completing the XAT 2023 application form are Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer (versions 50 to 61), (version 50 to 69)

XAT 2023 Exam Pattern

The XAT 2023 exam pattern has been updated. The two sections of the exam will each have a set time restriction. Decision Making, Quantitative Ability, Verbal & Logical Ability, and Data Interpretation will all be combined in the first portion, whereas the second half will contain a GK segment.

Each part of the XAT 2023 will have 22–27 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with five possible answers. According to the most recent XAT Exam pattern, the exam will last three hours or 180 minutes. It will be held in computer-based examination mode on January 8 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at selected exam centers.

XAT 2023 Syllabus

The XLRI Jamshedpur has established the XAT 2023 syllabus, which covers subjects in Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. The essay writing portion of the XAT exam was reinstated this year. However, it was only reviewed at the time of PI selection.
