The correction window for GATE 2022 to open from November 12, 2021

GATE 2022 is a national entrance exam that IIT conducts. GATE exam is majorly held for those willing to join a PG engineering degree like M-Tech/ME programs. In India, most of the top engineering programs will consider the marks secured in the GATE entrance exam. Therefore, the marks scored in GATE 2022 have more weightage and are the admission criteria for engineering colleges offering PG programs. As per the latest update from the exam authority, the final date for registering for this exam is on October 01, 2021, after paying the late application fees. The forms are accepted only till the given deadline, and the relevant info about this exam is given on the exam website of the conducting IIT website.

Once the registration is done and if the applicants want to make any changes in the form, the correction window will be open on November 12 2021 to make the relevant corrections if needed. The GATE 2022 exam will be conducted on 05, 06, 12 and 13 of February 2022, and the results of GATE 2022 will be followed soon on the website.

Below are the steps on how to apply for correction window GATE 2022:

GATE 2022 is mainly conducted for M-Tech or ME engineering program at the PG level, and for the year 2022, more than one lakh candidates are expected to appear for this exam. This exam is conducted in many cities across the country. The application forms for the GATE 2022 will be available online only, i.e. on the exam portal. But if there are any mistakes or wrong attachments of documents, then the students will have a chance when the correction window is open to make the correction and resubmit the form. 

Therefore, only the candidates who are looking for M-Tech program admissions must be able for this exam and here is how:

• Students can now visit the exam website where they had filled the form by entering the login credentials. 
• Once the previous application form appears on the screen, the candidates have to look for the correction window link and proceed. 
• In the next step, applicants must make the needful changes in the application form and recheck all the information before making the final submission. 
• After the details are entered, candidates must upload or attach the necessary photos, docs and certificate in scanned or digital format to verify themselves.
• Mainly, the applicants are required to select their preferred exam Centre at their convenience.
• The page will redirect the applicant to make the application fees and complete the last step.
• After the application fees are paid, the candidates can submit the form and download and take a printout.

The changes might include mistakes in identification info, academic info, incorrect attachment of docs, photo or signature, or multiple payments of application fees or wrong payment. After the correction is done, they will have to wait for the admit card release to download for the exam purpose.
