RGIT has a splendid campus, with appreciable amount of greenery surrounding it. It has a library, canteen, transportation facility, and a huge ground for recreational purposes. Enrollment to RGIT is through COMEDK/ KCET for UG engineering candidates and KPGCET for PG engineering graduates. The fee structure ranges around Rs. 500000 for B.E programme and Rs. 250000 for M.Tech programme, overall. Scholarship is provided for economically backward and reserved categories. Reservations of seats are particularly made for supernumery, rural, Kannada medium, Defence, sport, Anglo-Indian and handicapped candidates. Applications are accepted only through online means. The college doesn’t have any in-house internship yet, but improvements are being made. The college celebrates two fests annually namely: Lacrus and Zodiac which goes on 4 days with DJ nights in the evening and competitions during the day. As for employment, the college hosts a campus drive with a fairly good intake particularly for computer science students.
