Sir Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (SVIT), Nashik is managed by Pravara Rural Education Society since its inception in the year 1998 for providing education in Engineering and Management stream. The Institute was formed by Padmashri awardee Late. Dr. Vitthalroa Vikhe Patil in 73 acres of land in Nashik, Maharashtra. The institute has its affiliation to SPPU along with accreditation from NBA & DTE. SVIT is also AICTE approved for providing B. Tech, M.Tech, and MBA program for the students of Maharashtra and other states too. The Institute is just 12kms away from the Central Railway station and is situated on Mumbai-Shirdi/Nashik-Pune highway.

• SVIT, Nashik Fees for B.Tech program is INR 70455/- p.a., M.Tech program is INR 77500/- p.a. and for MBA program is INR 87273/- p.a. Development fees of INR 7045/- and INR 8727/- has to be paid by the students towards B. Tech and MBA, respectively.
• SVIT, Nashik Hostel is provided for 250 boys and 100 girls inside the campus with annual fees of INR 20000/- and a Mess fee of INR 24000/- p.a.
• SVIT, Nashik Placement of the students is done every year with reputed companies such as L&T Infotech, ThyssenKrupp, Wipro, Persistent, IFB, Rishab, Instruments, Mahindra, Bosch, Taj Hotels Resorts and Palace, etc. with the Highest Package of INR 4 LPA and Average Package of INR 3 LPA.
• SVIT, Nashik Admission to B.Tech program is made through JEE main or MHT CET, M.Tech program is through GATE exam and for MBA it is through MAH MBA CET.

The Institute has a reservation policy for different category students such as 30% seats for female candidates, 5% seats for the dependents of Defence Personnel or Ex-Servicemen, 3% seats for Physically Handicapped and 50%seats for SC, ST, OBC, and DTNT candidates.
