Sri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology is a self-financed and unaided institute offering Technological and Engineering education since 2008. This is an AKTU-affiliated college in Lucknow, and this college has also been selected for TEQIP national project, which the World Bank funds. SRMSCET is consistently among the top institute and has been ranked among India's top 200 colleges in the survey conducted by India Today in 2019. This institute has also been ranked 33^rd best private engineering college in North India.

SRMSCET has an individual placement, training, and development cell, which provides full-time guidance regarding the placements.  The TDP cell takes up the challenges and tries to train students with proper industrial training. There have been 83% of placements with an average package of 3.7 LPA in the previous years, and the top box was around INR 12 LPA.

Sri Ram Murthi Smarak College inspires and encourages students with good merit and economically weak. To support them, they offer scholarships and financial help. The trust has granted 3crore rupees as scholarships for deserving students. SRMSCTE also provides a stipend of INR 6000 to students pursuing M.Tech and M.Pharm for 1^st year and 2^nd year INR 7000 per month. Students who have qualified GATE or GPAT for M.Tech or M.Pharm will receive INR 12,400 per month.

Shri Ram Murti Smarak College BTech Admission
SRMSCET offers five streams under the BTech course. Admission to these courses is made based on 10+2 scores and exam scores. Therefore, candidates seeking admission to this college must have a minimum of 60% marks in their 10+2 in PCM subjects. Additionally,  Students will also have to appear for the JEE Mains. Candidates must register for JEE Main by logging into NATA Website online.

Students applying to PG engineering courses at SRMSCET can choose from various specializations in the Master of Technology degree (MTech).

• SRMSCET offers four specializations under the MTech course.
• Admission to these courses is based on the candidates' marks in graduation.
• Students must have a BTech course in the respective specialization with a minimum of 60% graduation to be eligible for the admission procedure.
• They should also have 60% minimum marks in 10+2 from a recognized board.
• Candidates should've qualified for the GATE exam to be eligible. Admission will be granted based on the same.

Shri Ram Murti Smarak College MBA and MCA Admission

• SRMSCET offers MBA in seven streams to the candidates interested in pursuing a degree in management studies.
• Admission to the MBA courses is based on the merit list of the CAT or UPCET exam.
• To qualify, candidates must hold a recognized bachelor's degree with a 55% aggregate score.
• The institute also offers MCA, the admission for which is based on the UPCET merit list. In addition, candidates must have completed UG degree BCA with an eligible percentage.

Shri Ram Murti Smarak College Pharmacy Admission

• SRMSCET offers a degree in pharmacy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B Pharma) is offered to UG students.  Candidates must have passed 10+2 and should've qualified UPCET exam to be eligible for B Pharma admission at SRMSCET.
• Master of Pharmacy (M Pharm) is offered to PG students. Candidates must have passed their B Pharm degree and should've qualified in the GPAT exam.
