Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences was founded in 2006 and approved by MCI. College is affiliated with Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. SGRRIM & HS extends over a gigantic 30-hectare property. Many dedicated professors and experienced faculties make this institute a center of educational excellence in the medical field. Conference rooms, laboratories, lecture halls, museums, and section rooms are equipped with the latest technology to make it easier for candidates to learn. The associated hospital with the college is Shri Mahant Indiresh hospital with several specialist areas and (super specialty and multi-specialty) with 1500 beds. The hospital cares for around 3,000 patients a day under direct supervision and with the human touch of medical professionals. The hospital staffs include more than 400 doctors and more than 800 paramedics.

• Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health offers an MBBS program with 150 seats and MD/ MS program with 96 seats.
• Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health, MBBS admission, and MD/MS admission are made by the national or state entrance examination score basis, i.e., through NEET-UG/NEET PG/ CET. Admission selection is strictly made based on the marks scored in the entrance exam. Online application mode is followed in this institute.
• In SGRRIMH, the fee structure of the MBBS course is INR 48.40 lakhs for four years six months duration period, MS course fee is INR 23.90lakhs for three years, and the fee structure of the MD program is INR 30.86 lakhs.
• Institute has two research units called the Central Molecular research lab and the Pharmacovigilance Unit, where the collection, reporting, study of diseases were carried out.
