Shri Angalamman College of Engineering and Technology

Shri Angalamman College of Engineering and Technology was founded in operation from the academic year of 1991 to 1992 by A.D.S. Education Trust, Triuchirappalli, with the Tamil Nadu Government approval. The total area of ??the university is 122 acres approximately.  The objective of SACET is to provide a platform for general growth, namely Curriculum growth, curricular and extracurricular, with a good purpose to provide all engineering candidates, especially the rural population, with quality education

Institute focuses setting new standards in the field of engineering and achieve an excellent placement for all would be our goals. The university has an excellent and experienced faculty to guide the students.

• University provides technical assistants with advanced and well-equipped laboratories, transportation, medical, Library etc. The institute library has 22,646 volumes which includes 11,623 titles, 5036 CDs and also has 35 international and 60 national magazines, as well as fifty general magazines.
• The university has built a separate shelter for boys and girls. The Boys shelter has 46 rooms for 250 students. The rooms are designed for single, double, triple bedroom occupancy, from budget suites to luxury suites, which makes them affordable for any part of society. The shelter should be another home for students. Host prisoners are expected to be friendly and cooperative with their classmates. The girls Hostel can accommodate 150 students with two or three beds and 18 rooms. 

The university has its own transport fleet to pick up aspirants from Trichy and its surroundings. SACET is about 20 km away from Trichy's heart.  A significant emphasis on quality learning in a supportive atmosphere which will help us set new standards in technical education and take a top position among the few leading universities.
