Shekhawati Engineering College Jhunjhunu

Shekhawati Engineering College (SEC) was started by the Satwic Jeevanshala Trust in the year 2003. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and affiliated with the University of Rajasthan. The college is located at the Dundlod on Sikar Jhunjhunu main road, i.e., Sikar-Loharu Highway, to make it easily accessible.

• The admissions for the engineering courses in the college are made based on the JEE/RPET system as per the categories, i.e., 15% management seats, 15% JEE seats, and 70% RPET seats.
• The intake for courses offered at college is 240, and the curriculum changes yearly as per the changes that occur in the industries.
• The college has researches conducted at CYROGENIC research center, SEC Infotech, and IBM Center of Excellence.
• In the previous years, about 184 students are placed in reputed organizations as per the requirements in the industries.

MANTHAN is the annual cultural event where choreography and music concerts by professionals and students and technical events are conducted. Scholarships are provided to the students based on merit and for categories like SC/ST. The hostel has separate rooms for men and women, and the boys’ hostel has nearly 312 seats.
