Shankara Institute of Technology Jaipur is a co-educational college initiated in 2001. SIT Jaipur is affiliated with the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and approved by AICTE. Its vision is to provide students with a quality education that enables them to identify and enhance their multi-facet talents and all-around personalities. They also aim to equip them with a firm and focused mind to tackle the future challenges of global competition. SIT Jaipur is a part of the SK Chaudhary Educational Trust.

Shankara Institute of Technology Admission Process

The Shankara Institute of Technology Jaipur offers undergraduate and postgraduate engineering, management, and computer applications courses. The admission criteria are based on merit and the entrance exam based. In addition, the applicants must have scored in JEE Main and undergone REAP counselling rounds for B-Tech admissions. For MBA and MCA admission, the applicants must have a graduation degree without backlogs. The selection criteria are based on CMAT scores for MBA and RMCAAT for the MCA program.

SIT Jaiur has an established Training & Placement Cell that provides students with 100% placement assistance. The Shankara Institute of Technology placement team will regularly organize industry orientation sessions, guest lectures, and other events to prepare students for interviews. Strong industry liaison is also conducted with reputable organizations within and outside the country. Additionally, summer training is organized to improve students' skills. The campus size of SIT Jaipur is spread across 10 acres. The campus has multiple facilities and infrastructure, including a library, more than 120 lecture halls, three drawing halls and five seminar halls with a seating capacity of 500 people. It also has laboratories with the latest equipment for various departments.

The college has separate hostels for boys and girls with 24-hour security. The hostels are equipped with three-seater rooms that have AC or non-AC options.
