Patliputra Medical College

Patliputra Medical College was established in the year 1971. It is affiliated with Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribagh, and approved by the Medical Council of India. There are a few committees for student welfare like Research Advisory, Anti-Ragging, Ethical and more. The main motto of this college is to provide good medical education for students and have a passion for learning. PMC acquired around 60 hectares of land for the medical faculty and the hospital in Saraidhela Dhanbad. New buildings for the medical faculty and the hospital are being constructed with 500 beds capacity. Govt. of Bihar moved the university to Dhanbad, an adjacent hospital, and added the Sadar Hospital, the Purana Bazaar Dhanbad Hospital of the SSLNT Jagjeevan Nagar Dhanbad Central Hospital for students teaching purposes.

• Patliputra Medical College offers MBBS, Diploma, MD, MS, and Paramedical courses.
• In PMC, the annual MBBS course fee is around 40 thousand rupees for five years and six months.
• The Institute will provide a one-year internship facility for the MBBS course duration.
• Based on the hospital, MD, and MS course fee structure, the stipend is offered approximately 48 thousand rupees annually over three years.
• PMC admission to the MBBS UG program is based on the NEET-UG national-level exam score. MD, MS PG program admission is made through the marks secured in the NEET PG exam.
• PMCH offers hostel accommodation separately for girls and boys with all comfortable facilities like well-structured infrastructure, furnished ventilated rooms, RO water, 24hrs electricity, and water supply.
