Maharishi Markandeshwar Institute of Medical Sciences & Research well known as MMIMSR was formed in the year 2003 located in Ambala, Haryana and the college is recognized under Medical Council of India and it is affiliated to Maharishi Markandeshwar University. It is one of the Primary Medical institute which is accredited in NABH and the college is a part of Maharishi Markandeshwar (deemed to be university). The college is well-equipped with exceptional state of art amenities and it is associated with hospital for practical training and there are 950 teaching beds.
