Dr. SN Medical College was started in 1965 and is affiliated with the RUHS (Rajasthan University of Health Sciences) and is approved by the Government of Rajasthan and the Medical Council of India. Dr. Sampurnanand Medical College is the best medical institution in the location of Jodhpur. The Institute is the 35^th largest city and 2^nd metropolitan city in India.

Institute is popularly known as SNMC Jodhpur. Only UG course was offered initially, and in the year 1975, the Institute introduced PG programs like MD and MS with 75 students' intake.

• SNMC is associated with some hospitals in Jodhpur locations like TB and Chest hospital, Umaid hospital, Mathura Das Mathur hospital, Mahatma Gandhi hospital, and Psychiatric hospital with all best basic facilities and maximum available number of beds and in-out patient of the location.
• Institute offers graduate courses and post-graduate courses in the medical science field. Nearly 250 seats are available for MBBS students, and 111 seats available for PG degree students (MD, MS, M.Sc., DM, M.Ch. course).
• SNMC admissions for MBBS course depended on RPMT, CBSE, NEET-UG examination score, and for MD/MS program admission, the selection was based on NEET PG score or the basis of score obtained in All India Pre PG, Rajasthan Pre PG examination, and through NEET SS score the selection/ admission is made for super specialty course.
• SNMC, the MBBS course fee is INR 1.27L for four years, and the registration form fee for OBC/UR students is INR 1400, and for ST/PWD/SC students, the price is INR 750.
