The Technological Institute of Textile and Sciences was started in 1943 and is popularly known as TIT&S. It was set up by the late industrialist Dr. G.D. Birla. TIT&S is affiliated with Maharshi Dayanand University and approved by DTE, and the NBA also accredits AICTE. The institute offers a composed and calm ambiance for its students' best learning practices. This educational institute is well known for its research in textiles and other streams. The institute has a textile mill attached to train students for a better career. It also helps the students in directing research. Besides this, the institute has a great placement training cell imparting training as per the industry-oriented with the best placement assistance for final year students. The placement cell coordinates actively with different companies to offer students career opportunities based on their interests and aptitude.

• TIT&S offers engineering and management courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. However, the intake of students for each specialization and course differs. There is B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA course available.
• The Technology Institute of Textile and Sciences fee structure constitutes course tuition and other fees. The college shall put up the course's general fee, while other quota fees will differ and be known by visiting the college admission office.

• Top 2 students from each class and each branch TIT&S merit scholarships are provided.
• To 6 staff wards, up to 50%, tuition fee concession and development fee are offered.
• For one student, every year best academician award is awarded.
• Every year the best Sports Person Award is given.
• Each year, the Best Performance award is given in cultural activities for one student.
