Saurashtra University Distance Learning situated in Rajkot; Gujarat was established in the academic year of 1967 with an aim to be at the vanguard of Knowledge in the domain of higher learning and achieve the highest global standards and to strengthen educational-Professional interface. Saurashtra University Distance Learning was approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited grade A by NAAC.

• Saurashtra University Distance Learning offers under graduate and post graduate courses in the field of Science, Management, Commerce, Arts, Education and Computer Application under multiple specializations.
• Fee Structure of all the courses is quite feasible and is worth to pay. Total fee structure of MBA course is INR 1,00,000; MCA course fee is INR 67,755; M. Sc course fee is INR 110,420 and the PG Diploma program can be completed with the total expenditure of INR 55,210.
• The University also provide placement facilities; the average salary package offered is around INR 3.0 LPA and the highest salary package will be around INR 6.0 LPA.
• The admission to the courses is either entrance based or merit based.
• For admission into UG courses candidate must have passed 10+2 level examination from a recognised board. In case of PG courses candidate must clear relevant entrance examination with valid score as per the cut off marks.
• Saurashtra University does not provide any kind of scholarship, but permits the government scholarship that are given to the students those who are eligible. Scholarship are given based on the category OBS/ SC/ ST or to the candidates belonging to economically backward class.
