Saurashtra University Distance Learning Admission

Saurashtra University Distance Learning was established in the academic year of 1976 and is located in Rajkot, Gujarat. The college was approved by NAAC. The institution was founded with an aim to achieve excellence in teaching and research and to empower students. The university offers diploma, UG, PG, Ph. D and M. Phil courses. All the programmes offered by the university are under the approval of University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is ranked 151 by NIRF and it also received NAAC accreditation of A grade.

• Saurashtra University Distance Learning offers under graduate and post graduate courses under the fields of Mass Communication, Science, Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, Arts and Education in numerous specializations.
• Saurashtra University offers B. VOC under the specialization of Computer Technology, B. LI. Sc and B. Ed courses at UG level. Basic eligibility require for admission into UG programs is minimum 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 exam in relevant stream.
• Students are finally selected based on their performance in the entrance exam conducted by the university.
• The Post graduate courses offered by Saurashtra University Distance Learning are MD & MS; LLM; M. Sc; MCA; MCA (lateral); MA; M. Com; MSW; M. Pharma; MPT; MSW and M. LI. Sc.
• For admission into MD & MS program, candidate must have completed MBBS degree from a recognised board. Final selection for admission into MD & MS program is done on the basis of candidate’s score in NEET entrance exam followed by Counselling.
• LLM at Saurashtra University is available under the specialization of Human rights & International Humanitarian Law. Candidate must have an LLB or integrated LLB degree from a recognised university to get admission into LLM program.
• For admission into M. Sc, M. Com, MA, MSW, M. Pharma, MPT, MSW and M. LI. Sc program, candidates must have completed graduation in relevant discipline with an aggregate of 55% marks, from a recognised board of education.
• Final selection is done on the basis of candidates score in entrance exam conducted by the university.
• Saurashtra University provides MBA under the specialization of Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management. Candidate must have a graduate degree and must have secured valid score in GCET entrance exam in order to get admission into MBA course.
• Saurashtra University also offers M. Phil and Ph. D program under various specializations.
• For admission into Ph. D and M. Phil program, candidate must have minimum 55% aggregate marks in PG degree. Candidates are finally selected on the basis of entrance test and interview conducted by the university. 
• The application mode for admission into Saurashtra University Distance Learning is offline; candidates seeking admission must buy the application form from the university office.

The filled in application form must be submitted back to the office along with the required qualification documents.
