The university is a public university. It has a campus it offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs in humanities and social sciences and a unitary structure with research. The university was started via an act of state legislature. The university was named after the Indian reformer because he believed in education is the right weapon for cutting down slavery, which can enlighten the disadvantaged mass of people to gain economic betterment, social status, and political freedom.

Placements

• The placements in the institution are good, and they have good records in the arrangements, with almost 80% of students are getting placed in the well-reputed companies with good salary packages
• The internship opportunities are available to the students, and they will do the internships in good companies, and they will be paid stipends. The placement cell prepares the students for future working environment challenges they will have to face in the students in future  
• The companies that will visit the university will conduct some rounds of interviews for the selection of the right candidates, and the institution prepare the students with good communication and soft skills for the personality development of students

Hostel Fee

• The hostel facility is provided to both girls and boys in the university, and they will be equipped with all required facilities, and the students can have good experience in the hostels
• The rooms provided in the hostel are spacious, adequate ventilation is there, and is well-furnished in nature, and the rooms are based on single and sharing based. The hostel mess always provides good and hygienic food every day

Cut-Off

The MBA joining students must clear the entrance exams like CAT, MAT, or CMAT exams  that are conducted by college or government and gain the required percentage in that for the admissions in the university
