V P Muthaiah Pillai Meenakshi Ammal Engineering College for Women (VPMM) originated in 2009, and since then, it is proving quality education to women technocrats, in specific. It is located in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The motto of the college is as the name suggests, is to empower women in the fields of technology. At present, the college offers B Tech and M Tech courses at UG & PG levels. Candidates who are willing to secure admission at the VPMM, must make sure of the eligibility norms before applying.
VPMM B Tech Admission

  • To be eligible for admission in B.E/ B. Tech at VPMM, students are supposed to get the rank in TNEA, which is released based on 10+12 marks.
  • The primary step is to register for TNEA counselling and then follow the procedures of counselling enlisted by Anna University (AU) after getting the required rank.
  • In addition, candidates must obtain above 50% aggregate marks in 10+2. Shall have studied PCM as the main subjects.

Candidates interested in securing admission to the M Tech at VPMM shall have done their UG degree BE/B Tech with a 50% score. In addition, they must clear the state level entrance exam that is TANCET.

VPMM application Process
Admission at VPMM Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses of B.E/ B. Tech and M.E/ M. Tech is based on the counselling procedure adopted by Anna University. Therefore, the primary task for the interested candidates for getting admission is to register themselves for TNEA or TANCET and then follow on with other procedures.
Application Process for TNEA:-

  • Firstly, search for the official website of TNEA and go there.
  • Then, go to the homepage of this particular website and click on the apply now link option.
  • Start registering yourself by filling in the required details.
  • When you are done with the registration process, you get the logging credentials.
  • Making use of those logging credentials, fill the TNEA application form.
  • Make a payment of application fee, which amounts to approximately Rs.500/-
