Sri Vidya College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET) was established in 2008, and ever since then, educational programs in it have continued. SVCET emphasizes providing quality education to the students to make them self-reliant, independent, and for society's general welfare. It is located on Sivakasi Main Road in Virudhunagar, Madurai district, in the Tamil Nadu state. SVCET offers a UG degree in B Tech and MBA & MCA at the PG level.
Sri Vidya College of Engineering and Technology B Tech Admission
SVCET has provision to admit students in undergraduate course BE/ B. Tech under six branches. The duration of the B. Tech course if of four years. The annual intake of students is 600 for the B. Tech program, including all the branches.

• To get admission in undergraduate program B.E/ B. Tech, the candidates must have their name in the merit list released by TNEA, which is released based on a 10+12 mark
• After getting the rank as desired by the college, candidates have to follow the counselling procedures enlisted by Anna University (AU) and get admission at SVCET.
• The first step that has to be taken to secure admission is to register oneself for the TNEA counselling and then follow Anna University's counselling procedure, Chennai.

Sri Vidya College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET) M.E/ M. Tech Admission
SVCET has provision to provide a postgraduate degree M.E/ M. Tech in two disciplines. The duration of this course is two years.

• Students who have successfully done their graduation in BE/ B. TECH and have managed to get a minimum of 50% score in the duration of that course are eligible to apply for admission to the M. Tech program at SVCET.
• After this, students must also give TANCET and qualify it following the criterion mentioned by the college that is SVCET. Then, follow the procedures of counselling as mentioned by Anna University and get admitted to SVCET.
• Therefore, students are required to register for TANCET and be eligible through the minimum cut-off desired by the college for admission in the postgraduate program of M. Tech at SVCET.

Sri Vidya College of Engineering and Technology MBA Admission
SVCET provides admission in this postgraduate (PG) program of Mater of Business Administration (MBA), in one discipline. The duration of the course is of two years. To get eligible for admission, candidates must score a valid score in the TANCET entrance exam. In addition, they must obtain above 50% marks in any discipline of UG degree.
