• B. Arch:

• B. Des:

• M-Tech/ M.E

• M. Arch

• Students interested in seeking academic course admission in TNEA for the year 2026 are selected based on TNEA rank and counselling results.
• It is suggested that the eligible students to register for TNEA through the online portal before the deadline as specified by the conducting authorities.
• For B-Tech or other UG programs that require an entrance exam, students must have completed their basic education of 10+2 and secured min of 50% in core subjects.
• TNEA rank will be assigned based on 12th board exams, qualified students shall then participate in single-window counselling held by government of TN.

Thiagarajar College of Engineering Eligibility and Selection Criteria

B.E/ B-Tech

• The basic Thiagarajar College of Engineering B-Tech eligibility criteria is, the applicants must have completed their board exams like 10th and 12th from recognized board or its equivalent.
• An average of 50% marks must be secured by the students in the general category. For reserved students, a concession of 5% will be given.

B. Arch

• For B.Arch admissions, it is necessary for the students to have passed the 10+2 exams from qualified boards in science stream and secured min of 50% marks.

B. Des:

• The minimum educational requirement is that students must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their board exams, such as 10+2 in the relevant stream.

B.Sc. + M.Sc.

• For the integrated course, like B.Sc.+ M.Sc., the only basic requirement is that the applicants must have completed their board exams and secured at least 50% marks in core subjects like PCM.

PG courses

M-Tech/ M.E:

• Having a graduation degree (B-Tech) is mandatory to join M-Tech program. Students must have passed with at least 50% marks and no backlogs with certification from recognized University.
• For M-Tech admissions, it is necessary for the applicants to have appeared for GATE at the national level or TANCET at state-level.

M. Arch:

• Students must have completed their graduation degree, i.e. B.Arch from recognized University.

M. Plan

• M.Plan is a PG degree for students willing to pursue higher studies in this stream.

MCA

• Students must have completed a BCA UG degree of 3 years from a well-known University.
