Ultra College of Engineering and Technology (UCETW) is the sixth educational institution established by Prof. K. R. Arumugam, who is also the founder chairman of Ultra Trust, Madurai. The commencement of academics in the institute dates back to the academic year of 2009. It is an institution that solely focuses on women's education in the technical field, a major step by the founders to enhance the concept of women's empowerment in a fugitive way. UCETW is located in Ultra Nagar, on the Madurai – Chennai Highway, in the Madurai district of Tamil Nadu state.
The college environment is immensely filled with greenery, which provides students with the benefit of maintaining a fruitful lifestyle. The college is also equipped with high security, keeping in regard the safety of women students. UCETW is approved by AICTE and allied with Anna University.

• Getting admission in the B.E/ B. Tech program at UCETW depends on TNEA Merit Rank. Anna University releases the merit list based on 12th board exam marks.
• First, students must register for TNEA Counselling which is based on their 12th score. Later on, Anna University publishes the TNEA Merit list.
• Later, students whose names are enlisted in the merit list are eligible to attend the counselling sessions.

Ultra College of Engineering and Technology M Tech Admission                                                                                                                                       

• M.E/ M. Tech qualification at UCETW is available in two domains. The annual intake of students for this M Tech is 50, including both branches. B.E/ B. Tech graduates who have secured more than 50% marks can seek admission to M.E/ M. Tech at UCETW.
• In addition to this, they must qualify in the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET.
• Thus, students are advised to register themselves for the entrance exam of TANCET and perform well in equivalence to the minimum cut-off criteria set by UCETW.

Ultra College of Engineering and Technology (UCETW) Application Process
Admission to the Undergraduate (UG) B.E/ B. Tech and Postgraduate (PG) M.E/ M. Tech programs will be made according to the guidelines specified by Anna University, Chennai. At first, students have to register themselves online for the individual entrance exams or entrance exams by logging into the official website. (TNEA or TANCET)
TNEA application process:-

• Visit the main website of TNEA
• Go on the homepage of the website and click on apply now link
• Register by entering the required details, and once the registration process is done, you will receive the login credentials.
• Using those login credentials, fill in the TNEA online application form.
• Mention all the required details precisely in the form.
• Do the payment of application fees online, and the application fees cost is approx. 500/-
