Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Admission

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies was started in the year 1993 and is the part of the Symbiosis International University. Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies is in Private Public Partnership offering Master of Business Management. Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies admissions to MBA is given if the candidates have minimum 50% aggregate in graduation.

The eligibility will be decided only if the candidates have appeared for SNAP entrance exam and GE-PIWAR.

Admissions to PGDM will be based on the CAT/MAT/SNAP/GATE/SIMS scores and Personal interview. Candidates should be a graduate or engineering or architecture passed with 50% aggregate.

PGCP admissions will be given to candidates with master degree or graduation with no less than 50% marks.

Admissions to all the other executive courses will be based on the Personal interview. Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies accepts offline application form.

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Admissions process to PG programs:

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies offers PGCP and MBA courses to students having graduation degree with not less than 50% aggregate. Executive PGDM requires 5 years work experience along with graduation.

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Admissions to PGADM requires 50% marks in graduation degree and executive MBA need 2 years work experience along with 50% minimum marks in graduation.

The SNAP is the institute level entrance test conducted for MBA programs as selection process where as for all the other course will be based on the performance in Personal interaction.

Note:

30% seats of MBA program is reserved for defence personnel, 10% seats are reserved for special defence category and 10% seats for civilians.

Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Application Process:

Candidates seeking for admissions in Management courses will have to appear for SNAP entrance test and PIWAT. So students will have to apply for SNAP entrance test.

To apply for the admissions applicants are advised to follow the steps given below:

1. Application form should be downloaded from the SIMS, Pune website.
2. Duly fill the application form and submit it along with documents mentioned below:
   • Biodata (1 Page);
   • Admit and score card of SNAP;
   • ID Proof;
   • Marks card of X/XII/Degree;
   • Caste Certificate;
   • Work experience/ appointment letter/ joining letter;
   • Pay slip;
