Sri Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering & Technology was founded in 2002. The institute is a part of Meerut's Ch. Charan Singh University. At the undergraduate level, the college provides Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and B.Tech Lateral entry and MBA and MCA at the postgraduate level. Admission at SCRIET Meerut is based on the admission guidelines prescribed by AKTU. • Candidates who passed intermediate/10+2 (PCM) with a 55% can apply for B Tech admission at the SCRIET. Whereas students from the reserved category can score at least 50% marks as a minimum eligibility requirement.
• In addition, candidates have to secure a valid rank in JEE Main Entrance Exam. Therefore, the selection criteria for B Tech at SCRIET depends on JEE Main rank and academic marks in the last qualifying exam.

Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering & Technology MBA & MCA Admissions

In addition to the B.Tech UG course, the college also offers Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs. Admission to the MBA and MCA programs is done as per the guidelines specified by AKTU, Lucknow.

• Candidates who have completed their UG degree and obtained 55% in the concerned stream can apply for MBA or MCA admission at the SCRIET.
• For MCA admission in SCRIET, candidates will be selected based on their UPCET score (UPSEE).  In addition, they shall have studied Mathematics as a major subject at UG or 10+2 level.
• For MBA admission at SCRIET, candidates must score well in UPCET, earlier it was known as UPSEE MBA. Also, 20% of MBA seats will be filled based on CMAT score. Thus, candidates who have obtained valid score in CMAT can even apply for MBA admission.

Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering & Technology Application Process

Candidates seeking admission at the SCRIET, must fill an application form. Thus, the mode of the SCRIET application procedure is offline for all the UG and PG courses.

• At first, Candidates should go to the college's official website and download an application form.
• The candidate must then complete the application form with all pertinent information and attach all required attachments.
• A demand draught with an application fee of INR 1000 (for Gen/OBC) and INR 600 (for SC/ST) must be provided (DD).
• Payable at Meerut, the DD should be drawn in favor of "F. O., CCS University, Meerut."
• Within the deadline, properly filled-out applications, along with the requisite fee and any relevant attachments, must be forwarded to the university office.
