For admission into Shri Vaishnav College Indore UG Courses, you need to be a 10+2 passed out. If you are applying to the BCA course, you need to have Mathematics as one of your subjects in 10+2. B. Sc candidates must have a combination of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biology subjects in their 10+2. On the other hand, candidates who have a three-year diploma course from a recognized institute are also eligible to apply for BCA.

SVIM Indore Admission to these courses is based on merit. The Department of Higher Education in Madhya Pradesh conducts the counseling process.

  • The initial counseling relies on 10+2 marks for seat allocation.
  • If some seats stay empty, a second round of counseling is arranged, considering the remaining vacant seats for that specific program.

Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management MCA and MSc Admission

The college offers MCA and M. Sc at the PG level. All these courses meet the industry standards. Graduation is necessary for admission into the PG Courses.

  • If you are applying to the MCA course, you need to have a BCA degree or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering.
  • Similarly, if you are applying to the M. Sc course, you need to have a B. Sc or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant stream.
  • If you don't have any of the above, you can still apply if you studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level or are in graduation.
  • Applicants must have gained at least 50% marks in their previous qualifying examination.
  • There is a reservation policy for the SC, ST, and OBC (excluding Creamy Layer) categories of Madhya Pradesh candidates. They need to score at least 45% in aggregate from any UGC/AICTE-approved Indian University.
  • Candidates from a foreign University are also eligible to apply. Their University must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or an Institute recognized by the concerned University as equivalent to it. 
  • Candidates are selected based on merit. A merit list is provided based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination.
  • Counseling is then conducted based on the merit list. The counseling date is mentioned on the website and in newspapers.

Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management MBA Admission

The college offers an MBA course. This course syllabus is created as per the industry standards. It is a two-year course of four semesters. Three specializations are offered under this course.

  • For admission into SVIM Indore MBA Admission, you must be a graduate. You can be a graduate in any discipline.
  • You need to score a minimum of 50%.
  • SC/ST/ OBC NCL candidates, however, need to score a minimum of 45%.
  • Candidates from foreign universities are also eligible to apply for this course. The foreign universities must be recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or by the concerned University as equivalent.
  • Admission to the MBA course is based on the performance in the CMAT entrance exam.
  • AICTE creates and releases CMAT merit lists based on candidates' scores.
  • Off-campus counseling bodies use these lists for admissions.
  • Seats for Madhya Pradesh residents, All India, and J&K Resident/Migrant seats rely on these CMAT merit lists.
  • If some seats are unfilled after the first counseling, authorities might plan a second round.
  • The decision depends on empty seats and applicants.
  • In the second round, they might consider entrance tests or qualifying exam scores for counseling.
