In 2008, SRCEM was established in Faridabad Haryana as profoundly known as a private educational institution shortened for Shri Ram College of Engineering and Management. AICTE and this institution have approved it by seeking affiliation from the MDU of Rohtak. This academic center initially started with Shri Gokulendra Educational Trust's support to train students with an effective learning system. SRCEM provides both UG and PG programs in career fields like engineering and management studies, namely: B-Tech, B-Tech lateral, BBA M-tech, MBA, and Diploma in Polytechnic courses in their respective choice for taking up specializations.
The institute's provisional facilities are decent enough for experiencing good training for that individual course as there are more than 55+ faculty members appointed for teaching purposes. They recruit teachers after examining their teaching skills and their effectiveness. The institute also offers placement training for all its final-year students looking for jobs right after their course training. The placement cell will arrange for one-on-one sessions for its students and analyze their SWOT/ SWOC. Some of the famous companies acting as recruiters are Airtel, Infosys, Wipro, ICICI Bank, Sony, TATA Steel, IBM, Amazon, etc.
The institute doesn't provide any particular scholarship facility for its students, and only merit scholarship from the government offers to the qualifying students. There is also some relaxation in fees for those from a reserved category like SC/ST or OBC. The institution has taken more than 650 seats for the engineering and management program, including engineering and other UG courses per academic year.
The application process for SRCEM Admissions
The applications for SRCEM admissions in SRCEM are applicable through online mode by visiting the institute's main website. There will be a prospectus PDF that will provide all details about the available courses in the institute. They can quickly go through the institution's website to know more about the admission criteria as per individual field courses.
My best friend pursued her B.Tech in Shri Ram College and while I was searching for colleges to apply for MBA she advised me to apply for Shri Ram College because the institute has got good placements and also the overall aspect and environment of the college is good enough to survive for 2 years. So as through entrance exam I applied for the same also got the Shri Ram College admission for MBA through the MBA score I had got. Also I had asked her how to get admission in Shri Ram College? she had said long back that one with the graduation degree can apply for MBA however entrance based admissions will be offered.
While I was searching how to get admission for B.Tech in Shri Ram College? and what is the eligibility of Shri Ram College? I was surprised that minimum 45% aggregate is enough to apply for B.Tech however the selection process will be merit based or entrance based. So Shri Ram College admission to B.Tech will be finally based on entrance based. Of course the score of entrance exam matters also we need to be from science background. I actually applied for the college through offline mode that is by collecting the Shri Ram College admission form from the college campus.
I joined this college to pursue Diploma in Mechanical engineering last year. As per my experience till now I am finding this college a best place for education. Teachers of mechanical engineering department are really good. The way they teach is just awesome. The college offers Undergraduate and diploma programs. For diploma in Mechanical engineering candidate must have cleared 10th with compulsory subjects, English, mathematics and physics from a recognized board. For my diploma course I paid INR 0.4 Lakhs every year. Fee structure for other courses is also feasible. As per my knowledge admissions into UG courses are through JEE Mains examination.
