PIMSE Pune  MBA Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications: Candidates should have completed a UG degree from a recognized university or institution in any discipline.

Minimum Percentage: There is often a minimum percentage requirement in the Bachelor's degree, which may vary from year to year. Typically, candidates are expected to have a minimum of 50% to 60% aggregate marks in their undergraduate degree.

Entrance Exam Score: Candidates may need a valid score in a relevant management entrance exam. Common entrance exams for MBA in India include CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT  or the state-level MAH MBA CET entrance exams.

PIMSE Pune  MBA Admission Process

Candidates willing to apply through the CAP Process must follow this guideline.

To apply for the MBA Entrance Exam, also known as MAH MBA CET, aspiring candidates are required to follow a structured process:

1. Registration on the Official Website: Prospective candidates must begin by registering their names on the official website of the examination.

2. Online Application Form Submission: Upon registration, candidates will access their personalized login accounts to complete the Online Application Form for admission.

3. Application Fees: Eligible candidates desiring to secure admission must submit the requisite fees as indicated below. Payment can be made online method.

Online Registration Fees:

• For General Category Candidates and Applicants from Outside Maharashtra State, as well as Children of Indian Workers in Gulf countries: Rs. 1000/-
• For Graduate Reserved Category candidates from Maharashtra State and Persons with Disabilities candidates from Maharashtra: Rs. 800/-

4. Provisional Merit List and Grievance Submission: The temporary merit list of eligible candidates will be available on the official website. Candidates can also use this opportunity to submit grievances, if necessary.

5. Filling and Confirming the Online Option Form: Before the respective Centralized Admission Process (CAP) Rounds, candidates must fill and confirm their online option forms. In these forms, candidates can list their preferences for courses and institutions.

They may provide a minimum of one and a maximum of 300 choices in descending order of preference. Once confirmed by the candidate through their login, the option form will be considered for seat allocation in the relevant CAP Rounds.

(i) Participation in the CAP is mandatory, provided that candidates meet the eligibility criteria for the respective CAP round.

(ii) Candidates can access and complete the online option form through their login accounts.

6. Provisional Allotment of Seats: The provisional allotment of seats for respective CAP Rounds (I, II, & III) will be displayed, indicating each student's allocated Institute and course.

7. Seat Acceptance and Document Verification: Upon freezing the allocated seat, candidates must report to the Admission Reporting Center (ARC) for document verification and the seat acceptance fee payment.

8. Final Admission Confirmation: Finally, candidates shall report to the institution allotted to them, following the provided schedule, to confirm their admission.

PIMSE Pune  MBA Management Quota/Institute quota against CAP Vacancy

Admissions for the Institutional Quota and vacant seats after the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) will be carried out as follows:

1. Notification of Admission Schedule and Seat Availability: The institution will publish a schedule for admissions and the available seats in each course. This information will be made public through an official advertisement on the institution's website.
2. Invitation for Applications: Interested candidates who wish to apply for admissions under the Institutional Quota or the vacant seats should closely monitor the institution's website for updates and notifications.
3. Application Submission: Eligible candidates should submit their applications following the specified schedule and guidelines in the institution's notification.
4. Selection Process: The institution will conduct a selection process based on the received applications, which may include criteria such as academic qualifications, entrance exam scores, or other relevant factors, as per their admission policy.
5. Publication of Merit List: After the evaluation, the institution will publish a merit list of selected candidates. This list will typically be available on the institution's website.
6. Admission Offers: Selected candidates will receive admission offers from the institution based on their ranking in the merit list. They will be informed about the course and other relevant details.
7. Acceptance and Enrollment: Candidates who receive admission offers must confirm their acceptance and complete the enrollment process within the stipulated timeframe specified by the institution.
8. Payment of Fees: Admitted candidates must pay the necessary Poona College MBA fees and fulfil any other admission-related requirements.
9. Commencement of Classes: Once the admission process is finished, candidates will begin their classes as per the academic calendar.
