PES Modern College of Engineering is one of the leading technical colleges established in the year 1999. PES MCE has been awarded as "Best Engineering College in Urban Area by SPPU. It is a NAAC accredited private college. In TOI Rankings, it has bagged 78^th rank among Top Engineering Colleges in India. At present, PES MCE offers UG and PG degrees in engineering & computer application streams. AICTE approves all the courses offered by PES MCE. In terms of placement, the college holds a 70% placement rate. Admission at PES Modern college will be granted based on academic merit and entrance exam score.

• PES MCE offers a full-time B Tech for four years. Candidates who have passed in the 12^th science stream can apply for B Tech admission at PES Modern College. The minimum passing mark is 45%.
• Candidates who have done a polytechnic Diploma with a minimum of 45% marks can apply for the B Tech Lateral program. As per the government norms, there will be a 5% of relaxation for SC / ST.
• B Tech Selection Criteria at PES MCE will be based on JEE Main or MHT CET Score. Students have to score well in any entrance tests equivalent to the PES Modern College's Cut off Criteria.
• PES MCE offers MBA at PG level in the general stream. The annual intake for MBA is 120 seats. Students who have passed with a minimum of 50% in UG degree can apply for MBA admission at PES Modern College.
• MBA Selection Criteria at PES MCE will be based on entrance exam scores. Candidates must have appeared for any national level or state level entrance tests such as MAH CET, CAT, CMAT, GMAT, or MAT. Candidates who get qualify in MAH CET with a good rank have to participate in CAP Counselling.
• PES offers full-time M Tech in four core specializations. The course is being provided for two years. The intake capacity for M Tech is 18 seats per branch.
• Candidates who have done their UG degree in B Tech are eligible for applying to M Tech. Candidates must have obtained a minimum passing mark of 50% at the UG level.
• Admission to the M Tech at PES Modern College will be granted based on GATE Valid rank. Candidates who have qualified in GATE with a good score have to register online through COAP before filling the PES MCE application form. Seat allocation will be done through CCMT Counselling. 
• The selection procedure for M Tech at PES Modern College will be based on GATE score & Interview Performance. 70% of weightage to the GATE score and the remaining 30% to interviews. CCMT will define the cut-off for M Tech.
• PES MCE also offers admission to the full-time MCA course at the PG level. The annual intake for MCA is 120 seats. The duration of the course is three years.
• For MCA admission at PES Modern College. Candidates have to score well in MAH MCA CET Examination. BCA graduates with a minimum of 50% average marks can apply for MCA.
• PES Modern College MCA Cut off is 42 percentiles. Thus, candidates are required to score equivalent or above to the cut-off norms to get eligible for admissions.
