Pavendar Bharathidasan College of Engineering and Technology is an engineering college situated in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. PBCET was founded in 1998, and its motto is "Learning for Excellence". The college aims to provide quality education full of technological advancement and inventive practical work. They believe in the strong ideology that "only a strong body can have a strong mind", which is why they have various platforms for sports and activities related to physical exercise and health. The college offers a degree in B.E., B. Tech at the UG level and ME, MBA and MCA at the PG level.
Pavendar Bharathidasan College BE/B Tech Admission
PBCET offers five specializations under BE: Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, and Mechanical. Under B. Tech, they offer three disciplines which are Textile, Biotechnology, and Information. The duration of each course is four years.

• Applicants who apply for B Tech admission at Pavendar College should have passed the HSC from any recognized board.
• Applicant must score above 45% in the 10+2 examination. Applicants belonging to the reserved category must obtain at least 40% as the minimum eligibility requirement.
• Therefore, applicants have to register for TNEA counselling based on their 12th marks. Then, Anna University releases the merit list of TNEA.
• Applicants whose names are featured in the TNEA rank or merit list will be eligible to participate in the TNEA counselling conducted by Anna University.
• The most important aspect is, Applicants TNEA rank must be equivalent to the PBCET's TNEA cut off criteria.

Pavendar Bharathidasan College PG Admission
Pavendar College offers PG courses in M Tech, MCA and MBA for three years. Students who hold recognized UG degrees with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for the PG courses at Pavendar College.

• In addition, students have to clear the entrance exam conducted by Anna University that is TANCET. 
• Selection criteria for PG courses at PBCET will be based on academic marks as well as entrance tests. Final seat allocation takes place through TANCET counselling.

Pavendar Bharathidasan College Application Process
Students are who interested in perusing their UG or PG degree in Engineering at PBCET need to register. Applicants are supposed to register through the official TANCET or TNEA website.

• Applicants seeking admission to the BE/B Tech at PBCET have to register for TNEA. The mode of the form filling process is online. After filling up the details, one must upload the scanned images of documents and pay INR 500 as application fees.
• Whereas admission to the PG courses depends on the TANCET score. Henceforth, candidates have to fill the TANCET application form by logging into Anna University main website.
