Asked Question

NEET score is 119. Can I get an MBBS seat
Asked by Apeksha Kulkarni

replied on 23-Sep-2022 12:53:22

NEET cut-off is not released yet by NBA. However, 119 is not a good score, and chances of getting free seats or govt. seats are quite impossible. However, students can check for MBBS management quota admission at Navodaya Medical College.

For PG-Medical admission, what are the admission process and fee structure?
Asked by Poojithaa Reddy

replied on 04-Oct-2021 12:27:29

The MD/ MS program requires a minimum of an MBBS degree from a recognised medical college associated with any MCI-accredited university. The NEET PG entrance test is used to determine admission to MD/ MS programs at NMC Raichur. In addition, a one-year Compulsory Rotating Internship in a teaching institute is required of the candidate. The candidate's MBBS degree must be registered with the appropriate State Medical Council. Candidates for PG must be under 45 years old (three years for scheduled caste/ tribe candidates). Aspiring applicants can apply for and take the PGET test administered by KEA, as well as attend the corresponding counselling. The application process and fee payment are both done online. Candidates who are accepted must sign an affidavit/ bond agreeing to work as a medical officer/ physician in medically underserved communities for two years after graduation. For students seeking admission under Govt. quota, the fee structure as a while for five years will be INR 21.41 lakhs. The general fee structure shall be INR 34.51 lakhs, while the management quota fees would be INR 6.55 lakhs.
