Maria College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2008.  This college is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and has gained affiliation from Anna University. The college is located in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Maria College Admission is based on an entrance exam, academic merit, followed by counselling. The motto is to provide prominent practical education to future technocrats and make them learn the art of being independent in all perspectives in their lifetime.

Maria College of Engineering and Technology B.E/ B. TECH Admission

  • The college provides admission in multiple specializations such as Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communications, Computer Science, Aeronautical, Automobile and Mechanical. The duration of B.TECH is four years.
  • Admission to this program is only based on the TNEA Merit list released by Anna University.
  • The merit list is based on 10+12 marks, and this process is followed by the counselling procedure conducted by  Anna University.
  • Eligibility criteria for this college is that candidates must obtain a minimum aggregate of 45% in PCM subjects in their 10+2.
  • The first thing a candidate is supposed to do is register for the TNEA Counselling based on their 10+2 qualifying marks. Later, Anna University will release the TNEA Rank List.
  • Students whose names are included in the TNEA rank list are eligible to attend TNEA Counselling.

Maria College of Engineering and Technology  M. TECH  Admission

  • It provides a post-graduate level degree of M. Tech in multiple domains.
  • Candidates who have completed graduation in B.E/ B. TECH with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission to the M. TECH at Maria College
  • In addition to the prior criterion, they must have also cleared the TANCET entrance exam with a good score equal to the cut-off norms.
  • Seat allocation takes place through TANCET Counselling. Thus students who qualified in the entrance exam need to participate in counselling phases to fill their preferences.
