IMERT is in Pune of Maharashtra in 1994 as a private establishment. It seeks approval from AICTE, NAAC, AIU, and NBA by being a private institute. IMERT offers only the MBA and PGDM under management studies.  IMERT provides placement opportunities for its candidates. • IMERT admission for an MBA or PGDM also accepts their entrance exam, namely XAT/MAT/CMAT or MAHCET and so on, which are national level entrance exams.
• Students have options like FM, HR, MM, Banking for the MBA program.
• Selection Criteria for PGDM at IMERT happens to the candidates' scores in the entrance exam and 10+2 merit marks in board exams.
• Candidates have to score well in their CAT management competitive exam. 
• For admissions in IMERT, candidates must apply via online mode or by offline mode. It is necessary to pay the application fees, without which the application process is incomplete.
• Candidates must attach the necessary files and certificates to the application form as an essential part of the evaluation.
