Management Development Institute was shortly called MDI Gurgaon and was established in 1973 as an independent Gurgaon business school. Currently, MDI Gurgaon imparts studies in the Post-graduation program, FPM (Fellow Program in Management), and NMP (National Management Program). MDI Gurgaon additionally offers a PGPM program in Part-time mode for working professionals. Based on their CAT scores, the candidates are selected for PGPM, PGP-IM, and PGP-HRM. The selected candidates will have to appear for group discussions and personal interviews.  MDI Gurgaon admissions to NPM and PGPEM courses will be based on the CAT or GMAT score, followed by a personal Interview. Admission to FPM will be based on the CAT, GRE, UGC-JRF, GMAT score, personal interview, and written test.

MDI Gurgaon PGP-PPM Admission Process:

MDI Gurgaon offers Post Graduation Program in Public Policy Management for officers who serve central services, faculty members of State ATIs, civil services officers, and All India services. MDI Gurgaon usually offers this program to DoPT-sponsored candidates.

Candidates must be 50 years or less to be eligible for admission to MDI Gurgaon. For the candidates who belong to SC/ST category, the period must be below 53 years.

As basic eligibility, candidates should have group "A" service for seven years as officers of Central Services and All India services and nine years minimum of group "A" service in state civil services as compulsory.

Candidates should have undergone 12 weeks or more duration training programs for five years before starting the India program. Officers shouldn't have experienced any training program of 2 weeks or more in earlier of 2 years, one month or more in earlier three years or more than six months in last five years.

Sponsored candidates: candidates are advised to forward the application forms from their respective organizations. The sponsored candidates should mandatorily appear for a personal interview conducted at Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.

MDI Gurgaon PGPM, PGP-IM, PGP-HRM Admission Process:

MDI Gurgaon offers many post-graduation courses under various specializations like Human resources, Information Technology and Management. The candidates interested in taking admissions will have a score minimum of 50% aggregate or equivalent CGPA in the 10th and 12th exams.  Candidates should also have a minimum of 50% aggregate in the Bachelor's degree of 3 years.  In the final years, candidates providing to satisfy all the eligibility criteria before June will also be eligible to apply for these courses.

PGPM, PGP-HRM, and PGP-IM admissions candidates will be carried out in 2 phases. Firstly candidates will be selected and shortlisted for group discussion and personal interviews based on their CAT scores. Secondly, candidates will have to appear for GD and PI conducted at the college. Candidates will also have to perform well in the written Assessment Test conducted at the institute.

Note:

Candidates will be awarded PGP-IM and MBA in International Management and Master in International Management from Europe after completing the PGP-IM course.

The candidates must have a minimum of 50% aggregate in all the qualifying academics, like 10th, 12th, and graduation.

Two years' work experience is mandatory for eligible to take admission in these courses.

NRI, PIO, and foreign candidates will be selected based on the GMAT, and the exam should be taken before January and before November. 

MDI Gurgaon PGPM Part-Time Admission Process:

MDI Gurgaon offers a PGDM program in Executive Management for Managers, Executives of government, public and private sectors, and state and central government undertakers. This program is offered only twice every year, in April and October. The sponsored candidates, as well as non-sponsored candidates, can get admission. Sponsored candidates must submit the sponsorship letter, and for non-sponsored, no objection letter has to be raised from the organization.

Basic eligibility will be to hold a bachelor's degree of a minimum of 3 years in any stream from any recognized university. They should have passed Bachelor's Degree and 10+2 with a minimum 50% aggregate.

Work experience of a minimum of 3 years in post-qualification, excluding the training period and internship, is mandatory.

MDI Gurgaon NMP and PGP- EM Admission Process:

MDI Gurgaon also offers a National Management program (NMP) and a Post-graduation program in Energy Management for mainly working professionals. The candidates' selection will be based on the CAT and GMAT score and a personal interview.

The basic eligibility for taking admissions will be to possess a minimum 50% aggregate in the 10th and 12th exams and should have a minimum 50% aggregate in Bachelor's Degree in any stream.

Candidates must also have post qualification work experience as an executive for five years. Candidates must have a GMAT or CAT score.

Sponsored candidates should forward the application form through the organization. Sponsored candidates need to take the MDI admission test held during December at many Gurgaon, Mumbai, and Bangalore centers. Candidates will also have to appear for a Personal interview following the admission Test.

MDI Gurgaon Admission Process of FPM:

MDI provides FPM (Fellow Program in Management) and Executive FPM for students and working professionals. The basic eligibility for taking admission into FPM is that candidates must have a Master's degree, securing less than 60% aggregate. Candidates who have a qualified five-year master's degree with no less than 60% aggregate can also apply for the FPM program. Candidates also must have a valid score on the GMAT, SAT, and GRE for taking admission to FPM.
