The candidate should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, from a recognized Indian University or Pre-University (Intermediate Board).
Admission here in this institute was done for the MBBS and the entrance exam which I had written was NEET. National eligibility entrance test is actually the main national entry level exam for the medical course like MBBS, BDS and BAMS etc. For the UG medical course we must write the NEET-UG and for PG we must write NEET PG. I had to take Maharashtra University of Health Sciences admission to MBBS course through the national level counseling based on my marks in NEET. Our university is the state university hence the counseling is the only way to attain MBBS seat here by attaining a minimum MUHS cut-off marks in NEET.
Minimum eligibility mandatory for admission into UG courses in Maharashtra University of Health Sciences is that, student must have passed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category). Admission process is on the basis of score in entrance examinations. For UG courses aspirants can appear for NEET entrance exam, which is conducted online every year in the month of May and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. Candidates can fill the online application form in 1st week of February and the application fee is 1,500 for general and OBC category.
