The MBBS course of MIMSR is for a duration of 5.5 years (including internship) and is designed for approximately 150 seats per year. Admission to the MIMSR Latur MBBS course is purely entrance-based, based on the NEET UG exam. Out of the total intake, 85% of the seats are reserved for state quota counselling, and 15% are reserved for institutional/management quota seats as per the given norms.

Admissions to the MD/MS program in MIMSR depend upon NEET PG scores. Candidates should possess an MBBS degree, complete an internship and be registered for Maharashtra state counselling. Maharashtra Institute of Medical Sciences & Research offers UG & PG courses in medical studies like MBBS, MS, MD etc. For admission into UG courses it is important that candidate must have completed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category) with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board. Selection for admission will be made on the basis of score in entrance examination and hence it is mandatory that student must appear for NEET entrance exam and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks. NEET application form can be filled online and the application fee is 1,500 for general/OBC and 800 for SC/ST. Exam is conducted in the month of May.
