Mahakal Institute has been affiliated under RGPV, Bhopal.  AICTE approves the courses offered by MITM. The college is the component part of MIT group of institutions. B Tech at MITM is available under five Engg branches. Candidates wish to enrol in B Tech degree at MITM, must full fill all the eligibility requirements.

MITM B.Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

• The college authority shall determine the eligibility criteria for admission to the BE/ B.Tech program at MITM.
• To apply for the MITM B Tech course, candidates have to undertake the JEE Main Entrance Test.
• The B Tech selection criteria at MITM depends on the student’s performance in JEE Main, followed by DTE MP Online Counselling.
• Additionally, candidates have to pass their intermediate with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in 10+2. The reservation Category will have 5% of relaxation in aggregate.
• The candidate will not be considered eligible for admission to B.Tech in MITM unless they pass their qualifying examination with the required percentage.
• Henceforth, B Tech applicants will have to register online through DTE MP online portal based on JEE Main Result.
• The final seat allotment for B Tech in MITM will be done as per guidelines of DTE via online counselling.

MITM M.Tech admission

MITM offers admission to the M Tech at PG level. MITM M Tech PG degree course is available in Civil Engineering. Admission at MITM Ujjain depends on the student’s performance in the entrance test as well academic merit.

• Candidates willing to apply for M Tech Civil Engg admission at MITM must hold BE/B Tech degree in Civil Engg discipline.
• Additionally, candidates have to undertake the GATE Entrance Test with a valid score. After qualifying in GATE, they have to attend online DTE counselling.
• DTE, Madhya Pradesh Government, will administrate the online counselling.
• Following GATE results, M Tech admission seekers have to register online for counselling.
• After the registration process concludes, the authority will compile the merit list by considering GATE scores.
• DTE MP Counselling concludes the steps such as Online registration, Displaying the merit list, Option filling round, Document verification, and seat allotment process.

MITM admission process

• Candidates looking for admission to B Tech or M Tech can apply offline by visiting the MITM college campus. The mode of the MITM application form filling procedure is offline.
• Candidates are required to visit the campus and collect the MITM application forms in the admission office.
• Fill the details in the form. Attach the documents and submit them.
• The payment of MITM application fees can be paid via Demand Draft.
