PSN Education and Charitable Trust established Lord Jagannath College of Engineering and Technology (LJCET) in 2006 under the chairmanship of Dr P. Syambu Nadar. The institution was established to provide valuable technological education. LJCET Kanyakumari is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution affiliated with Anna University. AICTE approves the courses offered by LJCET. The college offers B Tech at the UG level and MBA, MCA, M Tech at the PG level.
LICET College of Engineering and Technology B Tech Admission
The LICET Institute of Technology offers admission to the B.E/B.TECH undergraduate degree. Each branch has a 60-person annual intake. TNEA Merit Rank will be used to determine admission to the B Tech at LICET College.

  • Candidates must score minimum 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 PCM subjects. Based on the aggregate score, TNEA rank list will be prepared. Anna University is responsible for publishing TNEA Rank List.
  • Candidates whose names are enlisted in the TNEA rank list, they will be eligible to participate in the counselling sessions. Through this final seat allocation takes place.

LICET College of Engineering and Technology M Tech Admission
At LICET, M Tech degrees are provided in five areas. Applied Electronics, Communication System, Computer science & Engineering, Manufacturing, CAD/CAM engineering
• Candidates with a grade point average of at least 50% are eligible to apply for M Tech admission at LICET.
• In addition, they must pass the TANCET state-level admission exam, which requires students to register for an entrance exam online. Qualified students must attend TANCET Counseling after performing well in a test.

LICET College of Engineering and Technology Admission Process
Admission to LICET B.E/B. TECH and ME/M Tech will be based on Anna University's admission standards. Students must first register for the appropriate entrance exam or counselling session online through Anna University's official website.

  • Students willing to apply for B Tech admission in LICET, must register online for TNEA counselling. Based on TNEA rank and choice of preferences, seat allocation takes place. Whereas the application fees for TNEA cost approx. 500/-
  • For M Tech admission in LICET, students must qualify in TANCET. Therefore, they have to apply for TANCET via online by logging into the respective website.
