KIIT School of Rural Management is a part of KIIT Bhubaneswar. It has been running successfully over the past 15 years; KSRM has become one of the best institutions in the nation for rural management. As a result, NAAC has accredited the college with an "A" grade. Over the years, a few KSRM Alumni have also become successful entrepreneurs. As a result, the college has been ranked among the Top Management Colleges in India.

Along with innovative modifications to the MBA (RM) Program, KSRM has recently begun broadening the scope of its program portfolio to include a few specialized fields in the development Sector. PG course in PGDCD was launched in 2016. To meet the industry's expanding demand for qualified managers, KSRM launched the MBA in ABM in 2019. Additionally, KSRM offers a Ph. D. in rural administration. This expansion has been made possible by the 350 partner organizations across the nation, all of which offer a platform for learning to all students.

Admission to the KIIT School of Rural Management Course is based on the student's score on the entrance test. It accepts valid CAT, MAT, GMAT, CMAT, and XAT scores. Students who have yet to attempt any of the following exams are mandated to appear for the KIIT MBA Entrance Exam, followed by a GD/PI round.  KIIT School of Rural Management MBA course encourages critical thinking, written communication and oral abilities. Students gain the intellectual sophistication and pragmatic outlook required to lay the groundwork for personal and professional fulfilment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduates with a minimum overall grade point average of 50% in the following fields: engineering, science, commerce, economics, statistics, mathematics, business, medical sciences, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.
  • The minimum required education for candidates is 15 years (10+ 2 +3).
  • The candidates shall have valid scorecards of CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, KIITEE Management, or KIITEE.
  • The proportion of average marks is intended according to the practice followed by the college from where the applicant obtained the degree.
  • The candidates for final year UG exams are also entitled to apply. However, admission will be offered on a provisional basis. They must submit the final reports before the KIIT School of Rural Management admission date.

Selection Criteria

All qualified applicants will receive invitations to sit for the computer-based online entrance exam, KIITEE Management Exam, administered by KSRM.

  • Entrance scores, career marks, and GD results will be considered when making the final decision.
  • The chosen candidates must confirm and accept the offer of admission along with the terms and conditions for enrolling in the program and submit the acceptance letter in the format required within the specified window.
  • Those who have passed the CAT, MAT, XAT, or CMAT will not need to take the entrance exam. Instead, they can directly apply for admission based on national-level exam scores.

  • Complete the application form and include all required files.
