• KITS provides Admission for B. Tech based on marks scored in the TS EAMCET entrance exam conducted by TS state Govt.
• The eligibility for B. tech course at KITS, candidates should have passed the senior secondary examination in relevant subjects from a recognized board.
• The seats for B. tech course are filled based on TS EAMCET rank or marks obtained 10+2 with Physics, Maths and Chemistry as main subjects.
• The seats are provided in two categories of category A and Category B.
• Students who have cleared the entrance exam in Merit will fall under category A and students seeking admission from the management quota will fall under Category B.
• The annual intake for B. Tech at KITS will be 60 students for CS, 120 students for EEE, 120 for ECE and 120 for CSE.
• The Institute also offers B. Tech lateral course for the students for three academic years.
• The Admission for B. Tech lateral course will be based on TS ECET conducted by JNT University.
• The application process for students applying through Govt quota is to clear the entrance exam, and admission will be based on their ranks and academic performance.
• The application process for students applying through the Management quota will have to fill the application form online.

• The Institute of KITS offers two years M. Tech course under the PG program with an annual intake of 12 students per subject.
• The eligibility for the M. Tech course at KITS will be that candidates must have passed a UG degree in relevant subjects from a recognized board.
• The M. Tech admission at KITS will be based on GATE or TS PGECET entrance scores.
• Students who have qualified GATE can apply directly to the College by appearing in the entrance exam.
• The seats for the M. Tech course will be divided into 70% and 30% for the candidates with eligible mars.
• 70% M. Tech seats are provided to the TS EAMCET cleared students, and 30% will be provided to NRI and Management students.
• Students who have cleared the entrance test will have to appear in the Institute's counselling session before providing a seat.  
• Students applying through the Management quota will have to visit the official website, fill the application form for admission.
• KITS shall provide applicants seats based on their performance in academics or entrance exam scores and counselling performance.
