James College of Engineering and Technology was established in 2007.  This college is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated with Anna University. The college is located in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu. Maria College of Engineering and Technology Admission is based on an entrance exam, academic merit, and counselling. The motto is to provide prominent practical education to future technocrats and make them learn the art of being independent in all perspectives in their lifetime.

James College of Engineering and Technology B.E/ B. TECH Admission

  • Admission for B.E / B. tech at James College will be offered based on TNEA merit rank. Thus, candidates must secure a valid TNEA rank as equivalent to the cut off norms defined by the college.
  • Candidates obtaining a minimum aggregate of 45% in PCM subjects in 10+12 or equivalent can apply for admission.
  • Eligible & interested students have to fill the TNEA application form after the declaration of the 12th results.
  • Thereafter, Anna University will release the merit list of TNEA. Here, the authority will allot the TNEA rank for each individual through the merit list.

James College of Engineering and Technology  M. TECH  Admission

  • It provides a post-graduate level degree of M. Tech in multiple domains.
  • Candidates who have completed graduation in B.E/ B. TECH with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks are eligible to apply for admission to the M. TECH program at James College.
  • In addition to the prior criterion, they must have also cleared the TANCET entrance exam with a good score equal to the cut-off norms.

James College follows the admission guidelines prescribed by Anna University. Thus, candidates have to register themselves for the respective entrance exam or counselling session. The mode of the registeration process is online.

  • For B Tech admission in James College, applicants have to fill up the TNEA application form by paying the application fees, which cost INR 500/-
  • In case of M Tech admission, candidates must fill the TANCET application form in order to take up the entrance exam. The mode of application procedure is online and the fees cost INR 700/-
